We know that Jamie Foxx has been in talks for some time to play the villain in Amazing Spider-Man 2, and if a recent casting call is anything to go by he got the part.
Turns out that director Marc Webb has been planning on using Electro for some time as he included an Electro Easter Egg in the Amazing Spider-Man movie in the form of a costume.
As Spider-Man leans over a railing we see the Electro costume revealed.
There's another clue as apparently Gwen Stacy mentioned a bioreactor during the tour group, and the Ultimate Spider-Man Electro was created by some sort of bioengineering process.
In the Ultimate Spider-Man comic book, Electro is bald, wears a black leather outfit and has burn scars featured on his face.
The "Amazing Spider-Man 2" swings into theaters May 2nd, 2014 directed by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Shailene Woodley.
