At midnight on August 30 DC Comics The New 52 kicks off with the release of Justice League #1. To commemorate this occasion Midtown Comics in New York City will be hosting an exclusive appearance by Geoff Johns and Jim Lee. Those turning out will also be treated to giveaways, prizes for creative costumes and more.Retailers across the country will also be hosting their own events that night to celebrate the release not only of Justice League #1 but also Flashpoint #5.
